Description

3D animation involves animating characters and objects in a three-dimensional space. Volume and depth can be seen in characters and objects in this form of animation and it can be rotated and moved. 3D animation has great popularity in movies, games and virtual reality. 3D animation is also known as CGI animation where lights and cameras can also be animated. This form of computer animation also makes use of frames.

Integrating visual effects like fire, water, and explosions.
Hands-on: Render a fully lit and textured scene with effects.

Week 16–20: Animation and Rigging Techniques (30 sessions)

Advanced rigging for humanoid and non-humanoid characters.
Mastery of animation principles: squash, stretch, follow-through.
Simulating natural motion and physics-based animations.
- Hands-on: Animate a complex scene with multiple objects and characters.

Week 21–24: Simulations and Advanced Effects (24 sessions)

Cloth, hair, and fluid simulations for realistic movement.
Particle systems for dynamic effects like explosions and rain.
Hands-on: Integrate simulations into an animated sequence.

Week 25–30: Virtual Production Techniques (36 sessions)

Introduction to real-time rendering with Unreal Engine or similar tools.
Camera tracking and virtual cinematography.
Scene composition using real-time environments.
Hands-on: Create a short scene using virtual production techniques.

Week 31–34: Collaborative Team Projects (24 sessions)

Working in a simulated production pipeline.
Collaborating on large-scale projects.
Role distribution (modeler, texture artist, animator, etc.).
Hands-on: Produce a team-based short animation project.

Week 35–37: Career Preparation and Advanced Workshops (18 sessions)

Advanced portfolio techniques: showreel creation and storytelling.
Resume building, mock interviews, and industry networking tips.
Guest lectures and workshops by industry professionals.
Hands-on: Prepare and present a polished portfolio.

Week 38–50: Final Capstone Projects and Portfolio Development (48 sessions)
